Description
The Utility Tool SCS-C stop clamp is a complementary tool used with the SCS and Banana Peeler semi-con scoring tools to assure precise semi-con shield preparation.
High voltage failure analysis has proven that insulation damage and/or poor semi con preparation can lead to premature elbow, termination, or splice failure. The terminal point of the semi-con is an area of common failure. The SCS-C clamp insures a precise circumferential ring cut during the semi-con preparation process.
