Description

Battery-powered abrasive rail saw for defect removal, adjustment cuts and emergency cutting in the field. Cuts rail up to 75 kg/m, including AS 1085.1 profiles, with zero emissions at the work face: no exhaust, no fuel, no pull-start. Built for tunnels, depots, underground stations and any site where combustion-engine plant is restricted.

  • Flexible battery mounting: fit it directly to the saw or set it off-track on the 3.0m lead, keeping cable clear of the work corridor.
  • Reversible, two-sided cutting head allows opposed cuts through the full rail section, extending cuts per wheel.
  • Claw rail clamp gives a secure, stable grip on the rail head for accurate cuts.
  • Manual feed via a support arm.
  • Over 9 cuts per charge on 60kg/m rail (room temperature, full charge); more than 4 cuts per wheel with UtiliTool matched wheels.
