Description

Automatic, intelligent lithium battery-powered rail drill built for the Australian rail industry: light rail, heavy rail, crane rail and girder rail, with custom rail templates available. Clamp it, align it with the laser, press one button, and the drill runs a fully automated cycle through to a finished web hole.

  • Fully automated drilling cycle: power on and complete a web hole with a single button press.
  • Measured and controlled UtiliBroach advance and retract, gentle on the cutter. Field trials with a UtiliTool URB-22-50-WL annular cutter achieved well in excess of 50 dry 22mm holes before sharpening or replacement was needed.
  • Tool-free quick-change chuck for rapid in-field cutter size changes.
  • Laser alignment gives millimetre-accurate vertical hole positioning.
  • LED worklight for low-light and no-light conditions.
  • Rolling carry case with rail wheels locates & rolls along the rail head without carrying.
  • One-piece, lightweight design with an integrated carry handle; no additional tools or accessories required for operation.
  • Over 100 holes per battery charge from the 36V 12Ah lithium battery, with a rapid charger included.
