Description
DCPT is rated for continuous operation from -55°C to 125°C, and up to 300°C for short durations. DCPT has excellent heat ageing and oxidative stability properties. This polyolefin represents the best balance of properties for general purpose use. Shrink ratio is 2:1, it is advisable to select the largest size tube that will shrink on to the object. The typical applications for GPT include wire markings, colour coding, insulation or lightweight harness jacketing. Mark-ability is an important feature of this general purpose material.
