Description
• Not suitable for working at other voltage classes.
• Designed for the removal of insulation on XLPE,PE,PVC,EPR (G7) sections 25 -240 mm2 and up to a max. <Ø43mm for insulation and <Ø20mm for the conductor. It facilitates removal of the primary insulation in a simple and safe way, together with the screen layer, without damaging the conductor
• Insulation removal length is adjustable in the range 20 - 100mm, in steps of 0.2 mm, by means of the adjustable control knob in the handle of the tool
• For each voltage step 11, 22 and 33 kV a corresponding primary V-block insert must be inserted in the cutting head
• Index marks for the following conductor cross sections are clearly shown on the adjustable spindle: 25,35,50,95,120,150,185 and 240 mm. A locking stop piece ensures the cable is securely held in position.
• The cutting blade is changeable when blunt. Simply turn it around and use a second time
• Replacement blades are universal “Stanley type” blades Insulation can be removed down to ambient temperatures of -10° C
